The purpose of this activity is to understand the current state of the organization, assess the feasibility of deploying comprehensive and integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, considering the opportunities and threats. By conducting these studies, and understanding the current state and operational and management needs of the organization, an appropriate ERP is proposed and an RFP is developed for its implementation.
